I am eagerly anticipating the Opening Ceremonies of the Olympics tonight, in fact I am counting down the minutes!  I plan to spend the majority of my nights for the next two weeks glued to my TV.  I’m not even an athletic person.  Like, at all.  The Olympics somehow make me watch and enjoy sports I would never dream of watching the rest of the year!

Does anyone else love Washi Tape?  I have held out on buying any for a long time, and I can’t believe I did!  It’s so handy for everything from decorating my planner to greeting cards to crafts!  I snagged two rolls at Dollar Tree this week for only a buck!

On Monday, I am finally going to begin some intense dieting.  *Sigh*  It’s beyond time to get back into some old clothes and feel better about myself.  I gave THIS RECIPE for a Coconut Chia Seed Parfait a trial run this week, and I think it will be a great breakfast option!

On a not so healthy note, I made a cake this week to donate to a local community fundraiser.  I tried a new recipe for this HURRICANE CAKE.  It looks fabulous, and I didn’t even get to taste it!

  1. I love the Korres lip butters too! I have one in Pomegranet, which looks similar (maybe a bit more pink?). But I need to give that Tarte lip stick you talked about a swipe as well. Looks so pretty! And hooray(?) for getting back to dieting. It’s nice to do things that help you feel better and get on track. I’m right with you. I’m reluctantly excited about my workout classes I’ve started. They are hard. I don’t really WANT to go and sweat, but I feel better at the end of the day. Keep it up!

  2. Washi tape? Do I need washi tape? Oh, dear – something else on my “try this” list! People talk about it like you’re already supposed to know what it is. Like: “Air? We all use air. Everyone’s tried air!” What do you do with it in a planner? Duh!

  3. I’m still holding out on the washi tape craze but it gets harder every day 😉 And I am right there with you in the diet struggle!! I’ve been giving myself a pass since the wedding and it’s time to get back in shape. One of my favorite things that’s helping me right now are my Fat Fighters – never used to take supplements but once I found this I knew I could have my cheat meals occasionally still and not feel terrible since it blocks 1/3 of the calories. YES.
